Добрый день, можно помощь 
Хочу сделать магазин и на поддоменах чтобы были магазины регионов со своими контактами и мета тегами итд:
site.ru
spb.site.ru
perm.site.ru
итд

1) поставил prestashop
2) создал поддомен на хостинге spb.site.ru
3) поддомену указал папку главного сайта
4) включил мультимагазин
5) добавил новый магазин (или надо именно новый url?)

перехожу по ссылке spb.site.ru и пишет, что бесконечный редирект
что делать? убрать с главной страницы все редиректы?

может дело в htacces? бесконечная переадресация

ЧПУ отключите, отключите кеширование. Пробуйте без чпу открыть.

получилось, оказалось дело было в том, что на поддомене не было установлено ssl серифтиката и была переадресация.

теперь другая проблема 
я поставил поддомен, но он при открытии в браузере, редирект делает на главный сайт. как поправить?

У вас открываются оба сайта, браузер другой попробуйте.
